Ok, so now you have mastered some meditation techniques, connected with your guides and learnt to communicate with spirit. Now would be a good time to give your first psychic reading to see if things are on track. Its best to ask a friend to allow you to read for them because you already have a good link with them and hopefully they will be honest in how accurate you was.

Giving a psychic reading

Giving your first psychic reading can be a daunting experience, however with the skills you have learnt we can help guide you through it. You should start your first reading with someone you can relax and feel comfortable with and most importantly make sure the person will not be afraid to give you honest feedback. Knowing the person you are reading for will be an advantage at this stage because you will have a good base to start from.

Giving someone an accurate psychic reading will be a very fulfilling experience for you both, the target you are reading for should be left with a sense of comfort and a new focus in life. As any psychic can tell you everyone has hot and cold days, and certain times you will not be able to connect with your target. If you do not feel the connection or are cold then you should inform them and close the session.

How to start

Before starting to give a psychic reading you should have done some basic preparation, in order to give an accurate reading you should be in the right frame of mind and relaxed. If you feel cold and are worried about getting a connection then it may be wise to connect with your guides and enter meditation.

Start by writing the persons name and date of birth down, this will help give you something to focus on. Next you should ask if they would like a general reading or like to focus on a specific topic.

If they have a specific question they you will probably pick up on what their situation is, however if your link is not immediate then ask them how you can help.

If they would like a general reading just go with your instinct and say what you feel.

What to do if you loose your connection

If you loose the connection then carry on as normal for a minute or two, ask the subject a few questions as this may help trigger the link again. If the link does not come back then you should inform them and bring an end to the reading. Tell the client that this can happen from time to time and reassure them everything is normal.

Using Divination Tools

At this stage it is not advisable to start using tool for your psychic reading, tools such as tarot cards and crystal balls can be a big help but at this stage we are trying to develop your psychic abilities and intuition. in this exercise you have learnt how to give your first psychic reading and communicate with the client. You should now ask for some feedback which will help you identify how accurate you was at different points during the reading.

If you did not connect with your client then don't worry, this can happen to the best mediums. Just go back to your meditations and connect with your guides. It will come to you with time and practice.
